What Reliatic does
Deep reliability analytics and integrity governance for HSE-critical operations.
We do a small number of things at engineering depth. This page is an honest account of what those things are — and what we are not trying to be.
What we do — and how
Reliability Analytics
- Weibull 2P and 3P distribution fitting with confidence intervals (Fisher Information Matrix method)
- Competing risk models for multi-mode failure analysis
- Monte Carlo stochastic simulation — probabilistic downtime and cost distributions, not point estimates
- MTTF, MTBF, MTTR aggregation with data quality flags for sparse or inferred data
- B-life percentile calculations (B10, B20, B50, B90) for remaining-life planning
- Trend forecasting with OLS regression and 95% confidence bands
Risk-Based Inspection (API 580/581)
- Probability of Failure: gff × Df(t) × Fms per API 581 methodology
- Damage Factor for thinning, pitting, SCC, HIC, HTHA, creep, fatigue, CUI, MIC, and more
- Quantitative PoF/CoF mapped to API 581 5×5 categorical risk matrix
- Corrosion rate (STCR, LTCR) and remaining life per API 570/510
- Inspection priority queue ranked by risk exposure
Integrity Governance
- 7-state action status machine enforced at database level — not just UI convention
- Four-eyes validation gate: action owner cannot validate their own evidence
- Risk-weighted deferral approval chain: Low/Medium (Supervisor) → High (Site Integrity Manager) → Critical (Plant Manager only)
- Four-level ownership chain prevents orphaned actions during role transitions
- Immutable SHA-256 hash-chained audit log — tamper detection for HSE audits
- Automatic escalation with configurable overdue thresholds by risk tier
Financial Lifecycle Analysis
- Lifecycle Cost (LCC) with NPV discounting and Equivalent Annual Cost
- Probabilistic cost distributions from Monte Carlo simulation
- Sparing optimization: iterates spare-count scenarios to identify optimal inventory level
- Sensitivity analysis: identifies which cost drivers most affect LCC
FMEA Workbench
- RPN scoring (Severity × Occurrence × Detection) with null rejection — no silent defaults
- Fleet-level failure mode comparison across assets
- RBI-FMEA integration: high-risk RBI rankings automatically surface FMEA candidates
- Review cycle tracking with four-eyes sign-off
What we are not
Most platforms overstate their scope. We would rather be precise about where we add value so you do not buy Reliatic expecting the wrong thing.
Not A CMMS replacement
We do not manage work orders, spare parts inventory, or operational maintenance scheduling. If you need to dispatch a work order to a technician, use Maximo, SAP PM, or Infor EAM. Reliatic sits above these — we tell you which assets are at risk and why.
Not A document management system
We store evidence attachments and inspection findings, but we are not a replacement for EDMS or SharePoint for procedure libraries and drawing registers.
Not A real-time SCADA or process historian
We accept telemetry data as context for AI analysis but do not replace OSIsoft PI, AspenTech, or any real-time control system.
Not A one-size-fits-all EAM
Our depth is in asset integrity for HSE-critical industries — oil and gas, chemical, power. If your primary need is facilities management or fleet maintenance, there are better-suited tools.
Who uses Reliatic
Reliability engineers, inspection engineers, integrity supervisors, and site integrity managers at facilities where asset failure has safety or environmental consequences. Designed for upstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and water treatment.
Reliatic is designed to complement existing CMMS and EAM systems, not replace them. We connect to your asset register and add the reliability analytics and governance layer those systems lack.
